AS5 | Best Plush Mattress | Amerisleep
The AS5 is our softest mattress. Its 14-inch height and 4-layer design offers an ultra-plush and contouring feel that’s ideal for side sleepers and combo sleepers.
Our ultra-soft AS5 combines pressure-relieving memory foam with supportive Active Flex to offer side sleepers, combo sleepers, and heavy sleepers a comfortable night’s sleep
Cooler and more breathable
The surface you sleep on is incredibly important to your comfort. That’s why we developed the Refresh Cover for our mattresses.
Because it’s made from a fiber with extremely high energy transfer capabilities, the Refresh Cover draws heat from your skin for a delightfully cool-to-the-touch feel. On average, your sleeping surface will stay 7 degrees cooler over an eight-hour night of rest.*
Plus, our plant-based Bio-Pur material keeps you cool all night. Its open-cell design allows more air to circulate than traditional foam — and more airflow means cooler sleep, less sweating, and no more tossing and turning.
*Compared to a traditional 100% polyester cover.
Improve circulation
Along with keeping you cool, the Refresh Cover also supports improved daily performance and energy. This scientifically engineered fabric uses minerals to help convert your natural body heat into far infrared energy.
Why far infrared? This type of energy increases blood circulation to help speed up muscle recovery and improve quality of sleep. Plus, according to peer-reviewed medical studies, far infrared exposure may offer even more health benefits than we even know about yet!*

Amerisleep is an American memory foam mattress and bedding company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company was founded in 2010 and it has retail locations in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Oregon, Houston and three stores in South Korea.
A mattress is a large, usually rectangular pad for supporting a person lying down, especially for sleeping. It is designed to be used as a bed, or on a bed frame as part of a bed. Mattresses may consist of a quilted or similarly fastened case, usually of heavy cloth, containing materials such as hair, straw, cotton, foam rubber, or a framework of metal springs. Mattresses may also be filled with air or water.
Mattresses are usually placed on top of a bed base which may be solid, as in the case of a platform bed, or elastic, such as an upholstered wood and wire box spring or a slatted foundation. Popular in Europe, a divan incorporates both mattress and foundation in a single upholstered, footed unit. Divans have at least one innerspring layer as well as cushioning materials. They may be supplied with a secondary mattress or a removable "topper". Mattresses may also be filled with air or water, or a variety of natural fibers, such as in futons. Kapok is a common mattress material in Southeast Asia, and coir in South Asia.
Plush (from French peluche) is a textile having a cut nap or pile the same as fustian or velvet. Its softness of feel gave rise to the adjective "plush" to describe something soft or luxurious, which was extended to describe luxury accommodation, or something rich and full. This has also been known to be described as früh, or middlefrüh in more affordable varieties.
Originally the pile of plush consisted of mohair or worsted yarn, but now silk by itself or with a cotton backing is used for plush, the distinction from velvet being found in the longer and less dense pile of plush. The soft material is largely used for upholstery and furniture purposes, and is also much employed in dress and millinery.
Modern plush are commonly manufactured from synthetic fibres such as polyester. One of the largest uses of this fabric is in the production of stuffed toys, with small plush toys made from plush fabric, such as teddy bears, to the point these are often addressed as "plush toys" or "plushies" in North American English. Plush is also one of the main materials for the construction of designer toys.

We like everything about the bed. Only con would be I wish they offered a king with just the head split, not the entire bed split.

Everytime I lay down to sleep on my bed I think about how this is by far the best mattress I’ve ever owned or anyone I know has ever owned!!

Mattress is soft but not too soft, it holds its shape and I think it’ll age nicely. Perfect for my liking but some may prefer firmer.

i have a bad back, diabetic myopothy in my legs and feet, and a bad hip. firm beds started causing me a lot of pain weather i slept on my side or back. i got the a5 mattress and after one nights sleep i could tell a big difference. just the right amount of softness that i can sleep on my sides again for hours at a time. before i slept for 40 minutes to an hour at a time. i like to sleep cold as well and this bed doesn’t burn me up. i guess you can say I’m a happy camper.

Amerisleep had excellent customer service. They helped out with all my issues. I don’t know if my weight is too light but the mattress feels firm for me. I thought it was softer. The bed is a beautiful bed and my woman loves it. But I wish it was just a little softer for me because I’ve done so many research looking for a soft mattress in this price range and this was the best I could find. I thought it would be softer than a nectar mattress that I returned. So far I’m okay with the bed but not quite fully love it yet.
