I bought this because I heard great things about the C6, but there was a ten week wait for it. The C7 was $100 more but available at my local Canadian Tire. At the time there was virtually no information or reviews, so here are some things i wish I had known. Bike: The bike itself is really good. It’s sturdy and quiet. There’s a big range in the resistance, which is a nice feature. I like that it has four way adjustment for the handlebars and seat. I’m 5’2 and I have no problem adjusting it comfortably. I imagine the positioning of the bottle holders would be an issue if I had longer legs, however. Technology: I didn’t buy the bike for the screen, so I’m not disappointed that it’s really not that useful. I spin with the Pelaton app on my phone and use the screen to see my metrics by using the manual workout option. You don’t need to have the JRNY app to use the manual workout. I can’t connect my Android to the bike, so my metrics don’t get into the Pelaton app at all. And I can’t see the classes on the screen. I really didn’t know how any of this would work before getting the bike, but after a long time on the phone with customer service I finally realized that I was getting the full functionality out of my bike. It’s working for me, but if you want everything more synced, this might not be the bike for you. I’ve also had an issue with my speed sensor (it sometimes has a surge and shows me going really fast) so I’m waiting to find out if there’s a solution. Overall I’d recommend this bike for the price point. Just keep your expectations low for the technology and appreciate that it’s a really decent bike.
