10 (ten) is the even natural number following 9 and preceding 11. Ten is the base of the decimal numeral system, the most common system of denoting numbers in both spoken and written language.

A gate or gateway is a point of entry to or from a space enclosed by walls. The word derived from old Norse "gat" meaning road or path; But other terms include yett and port. The concept originally referred to the gap or hole in the wall or fence, rather than a barrier which closed it. Gates may prevent or control the entry or exit of individuals, or they may be merely decorative. The moving part or parts of a gateway may be considered "doors", as they are fixed at one side whilst opening and closing like one.

A gate may have a latch that can be raised and lowered to both open a gate or prevent it from swinging. Gate operation can be either automated or manual. Locks are also used on gates to increase security.

Larger gates can be used for a whole building, such as a castle or fortified town. Actual doors can also be considered gates when they are used to block entry as prevalent within a gatehouse. Today, many gate doors are equipped with self-closing devices that can improve safety, security, and convenience.

It is important to choose a controlled gate closer to ensure a consistent closing speed, as well as safety and security. A self-closing gate can help prevent accidents by children or pets, particularly around swimming pools, spas, beaches and hot tubs. A self-closing gate can also improve the security of the property by ensuring that the gate is closed and latched properly. There are various types of gate closers available, including exposed spring devices, gate closers, spring hinges, and self-closing hinges. The appropriate type of closer will depend on the weight and size of the gate, as well as other factors like speed control, weather resistance, and ADA compliance.

In economics, utility is a measure of the satisfaction that a certain person has from a certain state of the world. Over time, the term has been used in at least two different meanings.

  • In a normative context, utility refers to a goal or objective that we wish to maximize, i.e. an objective function. This kind of utility bears a closer resemblance to the original utilitarian concept, developed by moral philosophers such as Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill.
  • In a descriptive context, the term refers to an apparent objective function; such a function is revealed by a person's behavior, and especially by their preferences over lotteries.

The relationship between these two kinds of utility functions is highly controversial among both economists and ethicists.

I got two of these gates, one gate came with these nice screw in mounts that had good threads on them for threading into wooden fence posts, worked great, the other one had really bad threads and they weren’t sharp, I would recommend checking this before taking these home, other than that these gates are sweet

Needed a good quality gate for our new pasture. This gate came with everything we needed and opens and closes smoothly without effort.

The ones with the wire on the bottom are very sturdy and have held up well so far but it hasn’t been maybe a couple months since we’ve installed them. The ones without wire the horses like to step on them and break/smash them

Good gate for the money. You do need to pick thru some which are dented or rusted on the corners but once you find one they are light and sturdy and come with attachment hardware.

It’s sturdy and does the job. Was very easy to install with T post brackets and with a wheel on it it makes the perfect entryway into my RV spot

Got one 10 foot ranch gate at Tractor Supply with a 10% off birthday coupon. I need another 10 foot ranch gate to complete the job. The gate is rugged and is thoroughly painted to last many years of service. Thanks to Steven and Bobby at the Vernon Texas Tractor Supply for their help loading the gate on my truck.

This is my second gate. The color is good for where I needed it and the material is great. No rust on my other gate at home and it’s over 5 years old. Strong. Sturdy. Built to withstand kids (human and animal lol).

This item is just what I was looking for, a light weight, strong and we’ll designed gate. I welded a wheel to the bottom corner and bolted 10 feet of 6 ft. stockade fencing to it and couldn’t be happier with the results.

Not a heavy duty fence despite the price increase. Scratches and rusts easily. Sheep dented it just by rubbing on it.
