In economics, a good is something that is good. Goods are valued by their users (consumers) because they provide welfare (or utility). Economics focuses on the study of economic goods, or goods that are scarce; in other words, producing the good requires expending effort or resources. Economic goods contrast with free goods such as air, for which there is an unlimited supply.

A consumer good or "final good" is any item that is ultimately consumed, rather than used in the production of another good. For example, a microwave oven or a bicycle that is sold to a consumer is a final good or consumer good, but the components that are sold to be used in those goods are intermediate goods. For example, textiles or transistors can be used to make some further goods.

Commercial goods are construed as tangible products that are manufactured and then made available for supply to be used in an industry of commerce. Commercial goods could be tractors, commercial vehicles, mobile structures, airplanes, and even roofing materials. Commercial and personal goods as categories are very broad and cover almost everything a person sees from the time they wake up in their home, on their commute to work to their arrival at the workplace.

Commodities may be used as a synonym for economic goods but often refer to marketable raw materials and primary products.

Although common goods are tangible, certain classes of goods, such as information, only take intangible forms. For example, among other goods an apple is a tangible object, while news belongs to an intangible class of goods and can be perceived only by means of an instrument such as printers or television.

Rod, Ród, Rőd, Rød, Röd, ROD, or R.O.D. may refer to:

S, or for lowercase, s, is the nineteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and other latin alphabets worldwide. Its name in English is ess (pronounced ), plural esses.

Sporting may refer to:

  • Sport, recreational games and play
  • Sporting (neighborhood), in Alexandria, Egypt

A stream is a continuous body of surface water flowing within the bed and banks of a channel. Depending on its location or certain characteristics, a stream may be referred to by a variety of local or regional names. Long, large streams are usually called rivers, while smaller, less voluminous and more intermittent streams are known as streamlets, brooks or creeks.

The flow of a stream is controlled by three inputs – surface runoff (from precipitation or meltwater), daylighted subterranean water, and surfaced groundwater (spring water). The surface and subterranean water are highly variable between periods of rainfall. Groundwater, on the other hand, has a relatively constant input and is controlled more by long-term patterns of precipitation. The stream encompasses surface, subsurface and groundwater fluxes that respond to geological, geomorphological, hydrological and biotic controls.

Streams are important as conduits in the water cycle, instruments in groundwater recharge, and corridors for fish and wildlife migration. The biological habitat in the immediate vicinity of a stream is called a riparian zone. Given the status of the ongoing Holocene extinction, streams play an important corridor role in connecting fragmented habitats and thus in conserving biodiversity. The study of streams and waterways in general is known as surface hydrology and is a core element of environmental geography.

I got the 6ft6in medium light 4 piece travel rod. I’m giving this four stars partially because the zipper on the travel case broke off. I would be more upset about this if I didn’t have a fishing backpack that holds a four piece rod well.

Ok now about the rod. The rod feels very sturdy and well made. I snagged a couple large branches with this rod and pulled them up easily. The action of this rod is not specified, but imo, it is a whippy moderate to slow action rod. Great for baits with small sharp hooks or treble hook lures. One more important thing to note is that the reel seat for this rod is small. If your reel foot is over 57.65mm, it will not fit.

I have the 6 1/2 L and 6 1/2 ML 4 piece and they are definitely my go to poles for bass and trout. I want to buy the UL pole next but I’m on the wall about the poles color change to a flat green.

Got the ultra lite this season for crappie fishing and it’s been great. Well made and even hold up to much bigger fish. Honestly i was surprised by the quality!

Ive had this rod for about a month and a half now and have used it about 15 times. Ive caught crappie, perch, and rainbow trout on the 5’6 ultra light with 6 pound test and a shimano siena reel. Couldnt be happier with the outcome, the rod is very sensitive and I dont think ive missed a single bite while using it. Im aware that this rod can break relatively easily as seen in the other reviews so my advice is to be careful with snags and aim for Trout and panfish with this rod, not bass.

I have owned this rod long term along with a fenwick eagle UL and a St croix premier UL. Time and time again I found myself using this rod because the backbone just gives me way more confidence. The fenwick was much more sensitive, the st. Croix felt more balanced but this rod is the most fun. Why? Because it’s the only one that hasn’t let me down. Both my other rods have eventually broken after years of abuse but this rod has stayed strong and reliable. It’s not the most sensitive or the most balanced but it was cheaper than both more expensive rods, and I’ve caught many more fish with it… which in my book makes it better 100%.
