Tuff is a type of rock made of volcanic ash ejected from a vent during a volcanic eruption. Following ejection and deposition, the ash is lithified into a solid rock. Rock that contains greater than 75% ash is considered tuff, while rock containing 25% to 75% ash is described as tuffaceous (for example, tuffaceous sandstone). Tuff composed of sandy volcanic material can be referred to as volcanic sandstone.

Tuff is a relatively soft rock, so it has been used for construction since ancient times. Because it is common in Italy, the Romans used it often for construction. The Rapa Nui people used it to make most of the moai statues on Easter Island.

Tuff can be classified as either igneous or sedimentary rock. It is usually studied in the context of igneous petrology, although it is sometimes described using sedimentological terms.

Tuff is often erroneously called tufa in guidebooks and in television programs but tufa is a form of travertine.

Universal is the adjective for universe.

Worked as advertised. Mounted on a UTV and it was a good value.

Works great but I had to make plates for it so it wouldn’t spread as wide, using it for spreading anti skid on my driveway.

Works as it should. Getting use to the seed hopper adjustment was easy.

So far so good. I had to add a ratchet strap to hold the spreader on my front rack-no big deal though. Have put out over 1000lbs of fertilizer and seed so far. It throws fertilizer and heavier seed better than grass seed.

Simple to put together, gave 4 stars, it is plastic so we shall see how long it holds up.

I have one of these under the Earthway brand name it it’s the same product. I’ve had it for about 10 years and it finally gave up the ghost this year. Now, I’ve done a few repairs and nursed it along over the last few years due to corrosion from fertilizer, but it’s held up pretty good. Just ordered another. I would suggest a real good cleaning after use with fertilizer to keep the corrosion down. Mine had spread a lot of food plots over the last 10yrs, and I hope the new one lasts as long.
