Black is a color that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness. Black and white have often been used to describe opposites such as good and evil, the Dark Ages versus Age of Enlightenment, and night versus day. Since the Middle Ages, black has been the symbolic color of solemnity and authority, and for this reason it is still commonly worn by judges and magistrates.
Black was one of the first colors used by artists in Neolithic cave paintings. It was used in ancient Egypt and Greece as the color of the underworld. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches, and magic. In the 14th century, it was worn by royalty, clergy, judges, and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century. According to surveys in Europe and North America, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, force, violence, fear, evil, and elegance.
Black is the most common ink color used for printing books, newspapers and documents, as it provides the highest contrast with white paper and thus is the easiest color to read. Similarly, black text on a white screen is the most common format used on computer screens. As of September 2019, the darkest material is made by MIT engineers from vertically aligned carbon nanotubes.
GoPro, Inc. (marketed as GoPro and sometimes stylized as GoPRO) is an American technology company founded in 2002 by Nick Woodman. It manufactures action cameras and develops its own mobile apps and video-editing software. Founded as Woodman Labs, Inc, the company is based in San Mateo, California.
It developed a quadcopter drone, Karma, released in October 2016. In January 2018, Karma was discontinued. Also in January 2018, the company hired JPMorgan Chase to pursue the option of selling the company. However, a month later, the CEO denied this. GoPro has continued its business of manufacturing action cameras.
GoPro frequently partners with athletes; the company has partnered with Kelly Slater, Jimmy Chin, and Jonas Deichmann. In 2016, GoPro had 160 athletes on its payroll.
Video is an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media. Video was first developed for mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode-ray tube (CRT) systems, which, in turn, were replaced by flat-panel displays of several types.
Video systems vary in display resolution, aspect ratio, refresh rate, color capabilities, and other qualities. Analog and digital variants exist and can be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcasts, magnetic tape, optical discs, computer files, and network streaming.

Gave it to our son for his birthday. he said it’s great!

it’s a hearty little camera. however, i’m truly annoyed with the lack of hearty instructions. there’s no reference to any online training either. I mean really, there should be something included in this fancy box outside of the simple assembly instructions. how do you use it? …well, you need to Google that yourself.

This is my first time using a gopro so the menus were a little tricky to navigate at first. But the camera is great, it has good picture quality.

It’s last years GoPro at over $100 off. You can’t beat it.

We purchased this as a gift for our son, he said the functionality is great and the small size makes it perfect for filming while participating in physical activities such as snowboarding or running. The one draw back is the camera does not come with any accessories or a case.
