I felt compelled to write a review of this marvelous player. It blows away my previous player, the Sony X800. Though that is a very solid player, the PQ isn’t as good and the sound isn’t as good either, and no DV (dolby vision). The X800 has a better build quality with more metal but that’s where it stops.
After hooking up this player, I threw in Baby Driver, which the first chase scene with his red car looks and sounds reference. I’ve also watched The Office on blu-ray and the upscaling on this player is second to none. It upscales blu-rays and makes them really look close to 4K. Next we watched Prisoners and having seen this movie several times on blu-ray, it was easily the most detailed and crisp it has ever looked.
The network streaming is also right on track. I have the Simpsons and Seinfeld ripped to my network hard drive (don’t worry I own the discs) and both look great. Now it’s standard definition but the network interface is nice and works just fine.
I would recommend this to anyone willing to spend a little extra to get the best audio and picture quality for your 4K set. I have a TCL 55″ that does DV and it just looks so sharp with this player. It also upscales beautifully.

This is a solid-built and great quality 4k Bluray player with a time counter, the tray is further protected by the front panel making it more dustproof. I love this product.

Best 4K player little pricey but worth it. 2nd best 4k player on the market next to it big bother which is the best on the market.

It is one of the best BR players from Panasonic but, but have some issues for example: all movies in Netflix streaming are converted to Dolby Vision and this affects the original quality of the movie. If you have a decent AV receiver and good speakers then the sound and surround is amaizing.Super UHD TV+DPUB 820k+Surround System and you don’t need to go out to the theater.

Picture is better than any 4k player I ever seen or purchased. It especially looks best on the the 4k blu-rays. But you have to play with the settings of the player for the collars to really come out. Once you get everything set up the way you like it looks excellent for reals. It’s a real keeper for reals. I can not be happier for reals. Thanks for everything bestbuy.

This 4k UHD Blu-ray player is fine except for the layout of the remote control. It absolutely defies one-handed operation. The layout places the most common keys back over the middle of your hand and the thumb can not bend in that direction. The solution is to hold the remote so close to the butt end that it is uncomfortable and easy to drop. Or use two hands. To heck with that! This seems like a petty complaint, but this is flat out the most uncomfortable remote I can remember ever using. It’s bad enough that I am focusing my review on it.

I came from using an xbox 1 s and the difference is great. I wasn’t to sure If I should buy it but I’m glad I did.
