A fence is a structure that encloses an area, typically outdoors, and is usually constructed from posts that are connected by boards, wire, rails or netting. A fence differs from a wall in not having a solid foundation along its whole length.

Alternatives to fencing include a ditch (sometimes filled with water, forming a moat).

A mesh is a barrier made of interlaced strands of metal, fiber or other flexible or ductile materials. A mesh is similar to a web or a net in that it has many interwoven strands.

A wire is a flexible, round, bar of metal. Wires are commonly formed by drawing the metal through a hole in a die or draw plate. Wire gauges come in various standard sizes, as expressed in terms of a gauge number or cross-sectional area.

Wires are used to bear mechanical loads, often in the form of wire rope. In electricity and telecommunications signals, a "wire" can refer to an electrical cable, which can contain a "solid core" of a single wire or separate strands in stranded or braided forms.

Usually cylindrical in geometry, wire can also be made in square, hexagonal, flattened rectangular, or other cross-sections, either for decorative purposes, or for technical purposes such as high-efficiency voice coils in loudspeakers. Edge-wound coil springs, such as the Slinky toy, are made of special flattened wire.

With or WITH may refer to:

  • With, a preposition in English
  • Carl Johannes With (1877–1923), Danish doctor and arachnologist
  • With (character), a character in D. N. Angel

X, or x, is the twenty-fourth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is ex (pronounced ), plural exes.

Red brand fencing is a quality product. The roll was in amazing condition, which shows that the folks at the Warrenton, OR store handle there merchandise appropriately. When the wire is bent it is more difficult to install and won’t look good when installed. Wire was used to keep elk and deer from damaging new trees.

You need a spinning Jenny to properly unroll it also need a mesh fence tensioner to tighten it. With that being said the wire is great used it for dog pens holding up fine. Just make sure you have the right tools to work the wire with or you’ll struggle getting it up.

It works well but not as strong as anticipated. A bit cumbersome to get in place. More expensive than at other stores.

The size of this welded wire was perfect for our goats new pen. No more getting their heads stuck like in the old 4x4inch fencing. Having it come in a hundred foot roll was exactly what was needed, no need to splice smaller rolls together. Now, the goats are safe from predators and having the 2x4in squares keeps them safe from getting caught in the fence itself. Great buy! Great product!

Perfect for keeping our goats enclosed. We tried other fencing and they were able to jump over it. This is standing up to them leaning on it and rubbing against it.

I used this to make my chicken coop and it exceeds expectations! It’s way better to use this than chicken wire!

Nice fencing, easy to handle and strong enough for the dogs. Welds held firm during stretching, tensions well!

I just love this fence… so much so, that I put up 1200 feet of new fence all around; and yes, it not only looks good, but keeps the stray dogs out too! Thank You for making a Great Fence at a Great Price!

Wire had significantly stronger welds than two other brands I bought for the same fencing project. Would recommend – good product, worth the higher price.

Great product for a good price! We used this to fence in the yard for our dogs the 5’ height was exactly what we needed to keep them in. The associate that helped load in the car was excellent and knowledgeable! This product has been used for so many other purposes around the house with what was left over. Would definitely buy again.

Great product, hope this keeps the deer from eating the new fruit trees. Easy to cut with a cut off wheel. Stands up well.

Pretty nice fencing overall. The only issue is that’s it’s a bit cumbersome to work with. It’s a challenge to stretch so make sure you have some help when installing. Should hold up we’ll for many many years.
