Tuff is a type of rock made of volcanic ash ejected from a vent during a volcanic eruption. Following ejection and deposition, the ash is lithified into a solid rock. Rock that contains greater than 75% ash is considered tuff, while rock containing 25% to 75% ash is described as tuffaceous (for example, tuffaceous sandstone). Tuff composed of sandy volcanic material can be referred to as volcanic sandstone.
Tuff is a relatively soft rock, so it has been used for construction since ancient times. Because it is common in Italy, the Romans used it often for construction. The Rapa Nui people used it to make most of the moai statues on Easter Island.
Tuff can be classified as either igneous or sedimentary rock. It is usually studied in the context of igneous petrology, although it is sometimes described using sedimentological terms.
Tuff is often erroneously called tufa in guidebooks and in television programs but tufa is a form of travertine.
The yard (symbol: yd) is an English unit of length in both the British imperial and US customary systems of measurement equalling 3 feet or 36 inches. Since 1959 it has been by international agreement standardized as exactly 0.9144 meter. A distance of 1,760 yards is equal to 1 mile.
The US survey yard is very slightly longer.

Great little rake – dethatches well. The rake wheels aren’t monstrous, so don’t expect it to move rows higher than 6-7 inches. As other reviews noted, I added grease fittings to the tine wheels. Won’t move dense leaf coverage without clogging, but did a great job on my yard dethatching and minor leaf raking. Overall quite satisfied – easy to assemble, does what I bought it for

Put it behind my Kubota BX23S backhoe. I dropped backhoe attachment, works fantastic so glad I purchased it. Saved me tons of labor by not having to rake 2 acres by hand. It dethatches as well as rakes clippings. You do have to watch that sticks dont get caught or the wheels will stop. Just pull the stick out and go again. My lawn didnt appear to have any clippings but I ended up with 6 loaded buckets full of dethatched grass.

Very easy to order online and received my item in a reasonable amount of time.

Great so far, have used it twice. A few problems during assembly, nothing major.

This rake is unbelievable! My husband and I are senior citizens with a large yard with walnut trees… a mess to clean up! He saw this rake but I was skeptical it could take care of all the leaves with walnuts as well! I was so wrong! It is amazing! It saves us so much raking and had no problem with the walnuts! We also have pine needles and lots of them and still this rake takes care of it! We are so excited to have our work cut in half!!! A definite 5 star for us!!!!

Easy too assemble. Would be perfect if your lawn was absolutely flat. Misses a lot of grass when raking when it isn’t a flat area.

This a good rake if you have a big yard that has lots of room to maneuver around things. My place has mostly hay style grass since it was once a pasture and this little rake makes it easy to row up the grass to be picked up. Haven’t had the issue previous people have had about the wheels breaking and I’ve used mine for about 10 hours now. Only reason I gave it four stars is because the instructions are seriously lacking detail although I was able to figure it out by looking at several pictures on the box and not the instructions.

I have used the rake a couple of times since I purchased it last week and it works very well! I have two reasons for not rating it as a “5.” First, the assembly instructions were pretty minimal and it took awhile to figure out how to put it together. I went together fine–just plan to spend time looking at the instructions and puzzling over them. Second, the tines do begin to bend as you use the rake. That is to be expected. But again the instructions on how to reverse them to remedy the bend are not clear.

Bought this mid April to dethatch and rake my lawn. Worked well until hub broke loose from wheel rim at weld. Seems there is too much torque for the one sided hub. Local store upgraded wheels with no hassle.

After initial assembly, which took me about 2 hours, I was able to test the wheel rake on my front lawn despite wet conditions. It did a great job of pulling up dead grass and putting it into windrows which I was able to pickup with my zero turn with bagger. It would have taken me days to do this are by hand. So I’ve used it once; love the results and look forward to using it on the remainder of our 3 acres once things dry out a bit more. What a great time saver!
