Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (French: [sidɔni ɡabʁijɛl kɔlɛt]; 28 January 1873 – 3 August 1954), known mononymously as Colette, was a French author and woman of letters. She was also a mime, actress, and journalist. Colette is best known in the English-speaking world for her 1944 novella Gigi, which was the basis for the 1958 film and the 1973 stage production of the same name. Her short story collection The Tendrils of the Vine is also famous in France.
A leg is a weight-bearing and locomotive anatomical structure, usually having a columnar shape. During locomotion, legs function as "extensible struts". The combination of movements at all joints can be modeled as a single, linear element capable of changing length and rotating about an omnidirectional "hip" joint.
As an anatomical animal structure, it is used for locomotion. The distal end is often modified to distribute force (such as a foot). Most animals have an even number of legs.
As a component of furniture, it is used for the economy of materials needed to provide the support for the useful surface, such as the table top or chair seat.
Linen () is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant.
Linen is very strong and absorbent and dries faster than cotton. Because of these properties, linen is comfortable to wear in hot weather and is valued for use in garments. Linen textiles can be made from flax plant fiber, yarn, as well as woven and knitted. Linen also has other distinctive characteristics, such as its tendency to wrinkle. It takes significantly longer to harvest than a material like cotton although both are natural fibers. It is also more difficult to weave than cotton.
Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world; their history goes back many thousands of years. Dyed flax fibers found in a cave in Southeastern Europe (present-day Georgia) suggest the use of woven linen fabrics from wild flax may date back over 30,000 years. Linen was used in ancient civilizations including Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt, and linen is mentioned in the Bible. In the 18th century and beyond, the linen industry was important in the economies of several countries in Europe as well as the American colonies.
Textiles in a linen weave texture, even when made of cotton, hemp, or other non-flax fibers, are also loosely referred to as "linen".
Maeve, Meave, Maev or Maiv ( mayv) is a female given name of Irish origin. Loved the material of these pants – I bought the tropical pattern and they were just scrumptiously soft and flowy for being linen. However, as others have stated, they run big. I’m a 4R or 27 in pants at Anthro, but these were so stretchy and much longer than pictured. I think I’ll have to wait until a 4 petite or size 2 becomes available again. I’m 5’6″ and the pants hit the top of my foot – definitely not cropped. Makes me wonder just how tall these models are – it wouldn’t hurt to tell us!

LOVE these pants, so soft, incredible fit. I was hoping for a true red, but they are definitely a rust color. That was disappointing, however, they fit so nicely and are so comfortable, I am keeping them. I am 5’4 and they are not cropped on me, but I am happy with that.

These are great fitting pants that you can dress up or down. Pretty colors but the “Red” absolutely is not red, they are a burnt orange maybe even rust. I bought them in the store and was surprised that they have them listed as red on here. The length is not so cropped for me, I’m 5’3”.
